Today is the Mid Autmun Festival (well, Chinese seasons are different than ours) and here, they celebrate it by gathering with the family and eating a kind of round cake (moon-cake) stuffed with eggs, sugar, beans and more sugar. The cake being round represents family harmony. Or so I was told.

There are many legend related to this festival (full details). One that sounded really lose to our traditions is that now is the end of the harvesting season for most fruits. Likewise many town festivals we have in Spain, at the same season.

Well, since we do no have our families here, some of us went out for dinner and to spend this long week-end a little bit less alone. Today we're going to go for a walk downtown, t see what's going on (there was lots of preparation yesterday, as we could see):
